Here is how you can best fish the Crappie Magnet: * When crappie are holding at no more than eight feet, use a float to keep it at the right depth to stay with the crappie. * Or, you can fish the crappie magnet vertically and just drop your lure down to the depth that the fish are holding, and keep it there until you get a bite.
